Psalms Chapter 1
I Have Two Choices.
In this chapter you see two options:
1. Choosing God and His Law or his Word. I mean, you are 100% invested in his Word. You have a daily hunger and thirst for it. You want it to change your life completely. His Word points to Christ which results in righteousness and in producing fruit that impacts lives for the Lord. Christ’s love flows in and through you.
2. Or you can choose the ways of this world that’s occupied with worldly desires. It’s surrounding oneself with people who have “fun” doing that which opposes God’s Word. This so-called happiness is only temporary. They make bad decisions which ultimately result in destruction of their souls when they stand before God on judgment day.
Lord, help us all to surround ourselves with godly people pursuing a relationship with Christ. May we never forget that we become like those we surround ourselves with.
So Lord, help me to always be hungry and thirsty for your Word so that it impacts my life, not just on Sunday, but impacts every aspect of my life each and every day. And my prayer is that I can impact the lives of those that I come in contact with.
