Proverbs Chapter 27
Don’t BOAST!
Vs 1 says, “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.” How many times have you made plans only to have them change or fall through? I think we are wise to make a schedule for each day, but learn to give the schedule to God so he has the freedom to change it for his purpose and his glory. I have had plans that got altered at the last minute. It upset me and I complained. But it resulted in me later getting connected with someone in great need. God knew what he was doing. It was important for him to alter my plans to his plans so that someone he loves could have their needs met through me. It ended up being a blessing rather than a curse. May we all learn to have a schedule but give God the freedom to change it for his purpose and his glory. So next time your plans get changed, don’t complain, but turn to the Lord and say, “Ok God! I’m excited to see what YOU have for me today? 😃
