Numbers Chapter 4
God Has Spared My Life More Than Once.
The Levites were commanded by God to move the Tent of Meeting, God’s dwelling place, as they traveled from place to place. Three families, consisting of 8,580 men, were assigned different duties in moving the Tent of Meeting. If anyone touched any of the Holy items, they would die. They had to be very careful. The priests assisted them in their duties.
Today, God is calling us to be holy. We’re not to take lightly the Holiness of God. Honestly, I wonder how many times a day I displease God with an unholy thought or comment. How many times does God show me mercy, grace, and compassion for my unholiness, when in fact I deserve death?
But thanks and praise to God for his forgiveness that comes through Jesus Christ. I can’t live without him. Thank you Lord for forgiving me of my sins! May your Holy Spirit help me and give me the strength needed so I can have victory over sin so I don’t keep repeating the same ones.
