Numbers Chapter 34
God Always Has A Plan
God has promised to Israel this land in Canaan for a long time. Yet his plan isn’t just to say, “It’s Yours!”, and then leave them on their own. His plan goes further than that. His plan includes when they will go, what land they will take, what tribe gets which portion of land, and so on and so forth.
This is comforting because if God calls us somewhere, he doesn’t just drop us off like a school bus and say, “Have a good day! ” Rather, He continues to be with us so that He can accomplish His plans and bring glory to His name. Therefore, I can trust God to never leave me nor forsake me (Deuteronomy 31:6 and Hebrews 13:5). I can trust him during the tough times because I know he’s still at work carrying out his plan for each new day. Thank you Lord!
