Numbers Chapter 33
Maintaining a Journey of Boldness and Faith.
A review of Israel’s Journey from Egypt to their current place was given. They moved from place to place by God’s command through the leadership of Moses and Aaron.
It started out boldly but the journey had tough and difficult times requiring great faith. There were a lot of times when they lost faith and trust in the Lord and instead were filled with worrying, discourse, rebellion, and turning their hearts from God.
How about your journey? Is God the one leading or are you? Can you remember the day it first started? Do you remember your Love and boldness you had? Has that dwindled? Or has it grown? Have you had hard and tough days as did the israelites? Have you responded by faith and trust or with a lot of worrying and complaining?
God has made a promise to you that he will be with you always. He never promised a journey without trials and tribulations. Such trials and tribulations are what build our character and faith for the Lord. So let us hold fast to our faith and not let sinful temptations disrupt what God is trying to do.
Lord help me because I fail a lot!
