Life Isn’t Always Just About Me.
Very soon the 12 tribes will be crossing the Jordan River into the promised land that God promised them. The land they possess will require many battles of war in order to possess it.
One and a half of the 12 tribes went to Moses requesting that they take possession of the land east of the Jordan River versus the land God promised.
Moses was very upset because he felt they were being very selfish and weren’t going to help the Israelites in battle. But the leaders of the one and a half tribes swore to go into battle and help the others until they received the land God had for them.
What blessings have we received from God? Be thankful for such blessings but don’t get so wrapped up into your blessings that you forget about the needs of those around you. Always beware of them and always be willing to help them. Be a blessing to others while being thankful for how God has blessed you. Don’t make life always be about you!
