Numbers Chapter 19
Confession Equals Cleanliness.
God instructed the people to take a red unblemished heifer outside the camp and follow specific sacrificial guidelines. The ashes of the bull were to be used in water to cleanse those who were considered unclean.
Today the process is different. The Bible says in I John 1:9 that “if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just [fair] and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all sins].
What sins are you struggling with? Have you confessed them? What steps are you taking to repent of the sins? Have a plan for repentance. I’m glad when Christians confess their sins because that’s an important step. But it’s also great to have a plan or steps for repenting from the sins.
