Numbers Chapter 13
Walk By Faith Not By What Situations Look Like.
God makes a promise with Israel that he will lead them to the Promised Land and they will overtake it. 12 spies were sent to check out the land and the people and the cities for strategic purposes.
But 10 of the spies got scared by what they saw and it destroyed their faith that God could give them victory. Two of the men were excited and their faith was still intact and encouraged the people that we need to go and take the land and possess it.
God has called Karin and I to the Union City CMA Church for part-time position. He also has called us to start a Ministry (2 Loves Ministry) which the church will let us do there as well. But since it’s part time we are going to continue to raise funds to support us the other half. If we looked at just the circumstances, high inflation, it could easily discourage us that God can’t deliver his calling for us. I prayed to God Friday saying I trust him to be our provider despite the circumstances. Within 15 minutes, I got a call from friends in Missouri who received our newsletter, and said they want to support us monthly for the 2 Loves Ministry God has called us to.
May we not let what we see dictate our faith but let God’s word move us forward in faith.
