What Did You Say?
God commanded two silver trumpets be made for summoning the congregation of people. The different sounds meant different purposes.
Communication is so important whether it be within our family, our relationships, our jobs, or our ministries. We see the trumpet sounds were used as a way of communicating with the people. Different sounds meant different meanings. I guess you could say that was their social media. Today, the means of communication is overwhelming with so many options available. You can instantaneously reach someone across the globe. Once or twice a month I’m connecting with a pastor friend from the UK. We zoom and share spiritual things while encouraging each other in the Ministries God has called us to.
So how are your communication skills between you and God? Between you and your family? Between you and your boss or coworkers? Between you and any Church Ministries? And what exactly is being communicated? How does the Lord fit in with what is being communicated? Are people encouraged to pursue the Lord with all their hearts. Are your workers encouraged to be the best that they can be? Are clearly defined goals being communicated so everyone is working on the same page?
Communication can definitely be a weakness of mine and I pray that it will become a strength where I am currently serving the Lord in Ministry.
May we all see the value of great communication whether it be face to face or to someone across the globe.
