Leviticus Chapter 26
Let’s Get Real With Our Walk With Jesus.
God speaks to the Israelites and instructs them to keep his commandments. If they did he would bless them with food, peace, safety, and empowerment to defeat every enemy.
But if they did not obey him, then they would face Terror. And each time they faced his terror, if they don’t repent he will bring upon them even more destruction. And if at any time they come to their senses and realize their need to humbly repent from their sins, God will restore them in a love relationship with him.
God has made a covenant/promise with us:
If we humbly repent of our sins, turn to Jesus by faith, and follow him, then we receive eternal life in heaven. If, however, we choose to selfishly and pridefully live our lives apart from Jesus, then we face the penalty of death in hell for eternity.
Who are you following? What are you following? Have you surrendered your life to Jesus? Are you walking in obedience to him? I’m not asking if you know Jesus with your mind, for Satan knows Jesus with his mind, but not with his heart. I pray you will know Jesus today and forever with your heart, and experience a love relationship walking in obedience to his word.
