Leviticus Chapter 24
Is Your Light Always Shining For Christ?
The Israelites were commanded to bring olive oil to Moses for the priests. The olive oil was to be used to keep God’s lamp lit at all times that sets outside the veil, the Holy of Holies. Plus the priest was commanded to keep everything in order at all times.
The light was to shine at all times and everything was to be kept in order before the Lord.
It’s the same for us today:
1) God wants his light to shine through us 24/7. God help us to be a light in the dark world at all times no matter who is around us. Help us to not be ashamed of our faith but to be an encouragement to others through our faith walk and with our words. May the light that we project be a light that encourages others to want you as their Savior.
2) And Lord, help us to keep our lives in order, to maintain a Holiness that comes from you.
