Leviticus Chapter 23
Don’t Let Work Interfere With Your Relationship With The Lord.
God gave to Israel the laws of Religious Festivals which all included one common statute: there are always certain days set aside during the religious festival where the people were to do no work at all but be focused solely on the Lord.
Do we do enough of that? Are We including the Lord in every aspect of our lives? Is he our main focus? When it comes to keeping the Sabbath, are we easily sidetracked? Our focus should be on him daily and not just on the Sabbath day. How are you daily seeking the Lord? How could you improve this pursuit?
