Judges Chapter 4
Let’s Go Ladies!
Again when the Israelite’s Spiritual Leader died they did evil in the sight of the Lord and God gave them over to their enemies who oppressed Israel for 20 years. When Israel cried out for God’s help he sent them Deborah to be the judge and prophetess. God used Debra who summoned Barack and 10,000 men to go up and fight their enemy who was oppressing them.
The Israelites overpowered their enemy and the King fled on foot to hide from the Israelites and later was killed by a woman. God used Debra to guide and lead 10,000 people against their enemy and then used a woman to kill the enemies’s King.
Let me just say, God is calling his people, male and female, to be willing to be used by him to fight the spiritual battles before us. Being a mighty warrior for Jesus has nothing to do with gender. God will raise up great male Christians who do great things for the Lord, and he’ll also raise up great female Christians who will do great things for the Lord.
What God is looking for is a person with a broken heart that’s willing to be used by him. God’s criteria for using us for his purpose has nothing to do with gender. It starts with those with a broken and contrite heart before him.
Do not limit yourself as to what you can do for the Lord in reaching people for Jesus. It doesn’t matter if you are smart or not, weak or strong, popular or not popular, male or female. Surrender Your Heart to Jesus today and he will begin to prepare you and use you as he did Deborah.
