Judges Chapter 15
Where Does Our Strength Come From?
In this chapter we see where Samson is in constant conflict with the Philistines. Each time the Philistines wish to do him harm, the Spirit of the Lord comes upon Samson and enables him to defeat and kill many, many, many of the Philistines. After Samsung killed 1,000 of the Philistines with a donkey jawbone, Samson gave the Lord glory and praise for giving him the strength to overcome and defeat them.
Isaiah 41:10 says God is our strength.
Psalms 121:2 says our help comes from the Lord.
May we recognize that God is our strength and may we give him glory, honor, and praise for all he does in and through us in our time of need.
