Don’t Tell Me You Forgot Already?
God had stopped the flow of the Jordan River during flood stage so that all Israel could cross on dry ground. Afterwards God instructed them to take 12 stones and place them where people would see them as a memorial of God’s mighty power. It was also a reminder of God’s mighty power to All Nations in hopes that all nations would have a respectful fear for the Lord so that they would acknowledge Him as the one and only true God and follow him faithfully.
What are some of God’s blessings / miracles in your life? Are they quickly forgotten? Sadly, I forget many of God’s blessings in my own life. But when I stop and think, I can remember several blessings that I’m thankful for and they remind me of his love and mighty power.
May such blessings keep us focused on the Lord and then follow Him faithfully.
