Joshua chapter 3
Holiness + Faith = The Wonders of God!
The day of crossing the Jordan River (which was a rushing overflowing river) has come. The Israelites will soon be entering into the Promised Land. They were instructed to follow the Ark Of The Covenant (God’s presence), to concentrate themselves, to step out in faith and get ready to see the Wonders of God.
As the priests, who carried the Ark of God, stepped into the Jordan River by faith, God stopped the Jordan River so they could walk on dry ground.
Often, God wants to do great wonders in and through our lives. Perhaps we can learn from this chapter what God is calling us to do.
1. Consecrate ourselves: may we evaluate our spiritual walk daily and ensure we are walking in holiness.
2. May we also step out in faith. God didn’t stop the overflowing and rushing River until they stepped out in faith. May we be willing to do the same.
Holiness + Faith = the Wonders of God. Get ready to see what God does.
