Joshua Chapter 23
Keep the Lord God First!
Joshua has led Israel through many battles and God has helped them win them all. Joshua will soon die of old age but God reminds the people through Joshua that they must continue to obey and serve the Lord God and never turn to false gods snd never turn to those things that will hurt their relationship with the Lord.
So much emphasis is put on obedience and serving because it’s easy to get distracted from the Lord. Let’s be like Joshua who was a person of INTEGRITY. He was FAITHFUL to the Lord. May we be the same.
Lord help me to be an example. Help me be faithful even when facing hard and difficult times. Help me keep you first and help me love others as you have commanded me to.
