Joshua Chapter 21
God Always Fulfills His Promises
God gave the Levites cities to live in with their pasture lands for their cattle: 48 cities in all. Now all of Israel have possessed all the land that God had sworn to them. They possessed it and lived in it. This means they conquered it and possessed it. It’s a possession of victory because of the Lord.
It says that all the promises God made came to pass.
When God gives us a promise, then take it and proclaim it and possess it all in the name of Jesus. And when it comes to pass, make sure you give all the glory to God. Don’t think for a second that it was by your own strength and ability. Israel defeated every enemy they ever came across except the battles they put their trust in themselves and not God. It’s by God’s strength empowered through us and not of our own. Remember that!
