Joshua Chapter 11
Be Persistent In Prayer
News traveled to the other kings of how the Israelites had defeated So Many Nations. So several Kings joined forces so that their army numbered like the sands on the seashore. Plus they had several chariots and horses which gave them a military edge. But God said don’t be afraid for he would deliver them into their hands, and he did as he promised.
How many times are we in circumstances that seem overwhelming or impossible? It could relate to your own inner turmoil or anxieties, your family, your job, your church, or conflict with another individual. Don’t limit God. Persevere in prayer. Be persistent and trust God to give you strength, boldness, compassion, forgiveness, etc. – whatever it is that you need to gain victory over the situation. Don’t go alone. Open the door of your heart allow the Lord to have control and trust him to intervene. He may even use other people. Stop now and pray for his mighty hand to work in and through your circumstances and keep praying.
