What’s Your Mission?
Jesus is arrested by, not just a couple soldiers, but a whole bunch of soldiers. They were afraid of Jesus in what he could do. They assumed the worst, that perhaps his power would overtake them, which he could have. But Jesus kept focused on the mission: to die for the sins of the world.
What’s your mission? What’s your God-given purpose? How focused are you in fulfilling this God-given purpose? What are your obstacles? What responsibilities could you eliminate in order to make time for what’s really important? What hobbies or self pleasures could you eliminate or cut back on in order to accomplish what God would want to do in and through you? This is when we find out what’s really important to us, what’s our real priorities.
Let’s assume our schedule is really tight and it seems difficult to free up time. If God is calling you to a specific mission or purpose, then he’ll help make the time, he’ll help in freeing up the time needed, and he’ll help with the time management. So let your prayers to God be a priority. Trust God to get you where you need to be.
