John chapter 14. I Look Forward To Going To Heaven.
I look forward to going to heaven. Jesus, the creator of all the heavens and earth, is currently preparing a place for all his followers. It’s a reminder of the great hope we have in Jesus. It’s a reminder that one day he’ll come back to earth to gather his followers. Actually I can’t wait, but until he comes I want to be busy doing his work and his will! The good news is, that we are promised the Holy Spirit who lives and dwells within every follower of Christ. I need the Holy Spirit and I’m glad he leads me and gives me his word for Ministry.
I like how Jesus defines who those are that really follow and love him. It’s not based on words, but based upon ones actions or life decisions. It’s like he’s saying don’t talk the talk of Christianity, but Walk The talk of Christianity!
He says those who obey Him are those who really love Him.
God forgive me when I let my heart stray and my actions follow my straying heart. Help me be obedient daily and forgive me when I fail. On the days that I fail, help me keep getting back up and return to you completely. May your Holy Spirit use me to promote you to others. Use me in ways that I haven’t even imagined yet. Thank you!
