Job Chapter 34
Is God Really Unfair Or Unjust?
Elihu accuses Job of charging God of Injustice or for being Unfair. But reminds Job that it’s impossible for God to be unjust.
Have we ever accused God of not being fair? Or worse yet, have we ever declared that there is no God or at least not a loving God because of what we are going through or experiencing?
On the contrary, Jesus said we will have troubles in this world, and why not? Sin came into the world which brought a curse on this earth. Bad things are going to happen and we will all experience the troubles of life, but we can’t forget the promises of God:
1. John 16:33 Jesus said in this world we will have troubles but take heart because he has overcome this world.
2. Romans 8:28 says that we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him…. God desires to take that, which seems terrible for us, and bring about goodness as it relates to the kingdom.
3. 1 John 5:1-5 says our greatest victory is not obtaining that one thing on Earth that we want so badly, the greatest victory is loving God and obeying God on Earth resulting in spending eternity in heaven with God.
Are you consumed with Earthly satisfaction over Heavenly satisfaction? Are you walking in victory with Jesus or are you striving to walk in victory for Earthly things?
