Job Chapter 33
Stop Complaining!
Elihu confronts Job because Job says God is against him because he allows such horrendous sickness upon him. Since God is so Almighty then who are we to question his ways? Why do we even spit out any complaining words? It’s an insult to God. How dare we try and bring God down to our level when we should trust him with the outcome that has fallen on us. God IS Loving! God IS in Control! His ways and thoughts are WAY BEYOND OURS!!!!!!
God, help me see my life as a preparation for eternity and not get stuck in thinking this world is all you have to offer. Help me not complain if things don’t go just the way I wanted or expected. Help me trust you in the most difficult circumstances whether it be my health or any form of brokenness in my life. Help me not lose focus of you!! Help me stay connected and continue to pursue you with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. Lastly, FORGIVE me when I complain and question you, as I often often often often do!
