Job Chapter 15
Gain Wisdom, God’s wisdom!
Eliphaz accuses Job of thinking he’s wiser than the rest. He even says, “What do you know that we do not know?” It’s his way of saying to Job, “You’re not as smart as you think you are.” Then Eliphaz says even the older wiser men agree with our wisdom over yours.
Listen, just because you have a team of “wise” men and women, doesn’t mean their wisdom trumps everybody else’s wisdom.
Let me remind us all that true wisdom comes from God. So when giving or seeking advice, it’s important to be connected to God’s Word. Yes, it’s his wisdom we must seek first, plus God often will provide you Godly men and women who can give wise counsel.
But don’t limit yourself. You don’t have a degree? You’re not a scholar? That’s great. These are not the necessary criteria in order to gain true wisdom. God is the holder of wisdom and he is not partial who he gives it to. He often uses the foolish person to shame the wise. The disciples were “uneducated men” that God used to silent the educated.

“All wisdom comes from God….”
“With wisdom you will learn what is right, and honest, and fair….”
“Wisdom will protect you from evil….”
