Isaiah Chapter 9
Is Your Life With Or Without Christ?
This chapter starts off with a prophecy regarding Jesus. It speaks of him one day coming to Earth to bring salvation, the forgiveness of sin, to his creation. God shared this plan the moment Adam and Eve sinned against God. And throughout scripture, God reminds his creation of the coming Savior to Earth. Yet God’s creation, because of their pride and arrogance, kept rejecting God which brought his destruction upon them. May we not be like them and reject Jesus from our hearts.
Is Jesus the center of your hearts? Do we understand that every time we breathe it’s because the Lord is letting us have the breath of life. We don’t know when we will quit breathing and leave this Earth. So may we keep Christ as Lord over all aspects of our lives. We can’t let pride and arrogance into our hearts where we end up taking control of our own lives. A life with Jesus now is a life with Jesus for eternity in heaven. A life without Jesus now is a life without Jesus for eternity while in hell.
Jesus loves us so much and wants to be Lord Of Our lives. Is that your heart’s desire?
