Isaiah Chapter 63. God’s Wrath is Real!
This chapter is a prophecy of the Lord’s return to Earth to judge the Nations. When his wrath comes, it will be a horrible sight. Edom and Bozrah experienced God’s Wrath. Blood was spattered all over. This is real!
People, including Christians, enjoy talking about the love of God as if he doesn’t care about sin. They forget that he is a holy God and calls us to be holy. You can only be holy through a relationship with his son Jesus. He alone can remove our sin and make us holy. To ignore his son is to bring God’s wrath upon ourselves.
Israel couldn’t figure out why God was not saving them and pleaded for his compassion and loving kindness. When in fact, God was waiting for their faithfulness to him, repenting from their sins.
God’s Wrath is real. Yes, he is a loving God, but he is Holy and he calls us to be holy through a relationship with his son. You can’t live without him. Turn to him today by turning from your sin and surrendering your heart to him. Repent and call on the Lord and you will be saved. Do it today.
