Isaiah Chapter 56
God Promises Joy With His Salvation!!Ā Ā ššš
Vs 1: God called his people to be patient because His Salvation is close at hand.
Vs 7: And this Salvation [the coming of Jesus] will be for all nations and for all people.
Vs 2-5: Those who receive this Salvation will receive an everlasting name that will endure forever.
Vs 9-12: Those who hear of His Salvation and reject it, because they want to live their life their own way, will face God’s wrath.
Vs 7: God promises that those who receive it, and live it, will have JOY.
DO YOU HAVE JOY IN YOUR LIFE? Joy is not another word for happiness. Happiness is a feeling. Joy is what we experience with the Lord because we have this inward trust that he is in control and he will work things out. Joy is that ability to be able to say, despite my circumstances, God, thank you that you are in control. That thought in and of itself gives me JOY!!
I PRAY YOU CAN HAVE JOY IN YOUR LIFE.
