Isaiah Chapter 52
WAKE UP!!!!!
Have you ever been woken up in the morning because of some intense circumstances going on? They yell at you to get up out of bed NOW because:
– There’s a fire in the house.
– You’re late for school or work. Or
– Someone has been hurt and needs rushed to the hospital.
In this chapter, God says to the people, twice, WAKE UP WAKE UP!!!!! So you know what he is about to say is important! God declares that a Redeemer is coming, the Savior, his son Jesus. God wants to set his people free from sin. This is good news, in fact, God says, How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim his Salvation and declare that our God reigns.
The people were told to lift up their voices and sing for joy To The Lord their redeemer, the suffering servant. He will be lifted up and be highly exalted. However there will be those who are appalled by him and will beat him to the point that his face is disfigured and his body is marred beyond comprehension. Jesus did this for us, so we could be forgiven of our sins. May we be one of those who bring the good news of Jesus to those around us. May we proclaim his Salvation and Sing for Joy!! Thank you Jesus for what you did for us. I love you and pray you help me proclaim your Salvation to others.
