Isaiah Chapter 49
Ready Or Not, Here He Comes!
So God calls all the nations together to listen as He introduces the coming of the Messiah, the Savior, a Servant. Before he was born God called him and even spoke his name. His mouth will be like a sharpened sword because when he speaks, his words will cut through the hearts of people convicting them of their sins. Sadly, some will reject him while others will receive him, including those we thought NEVER would come to the Lord.
The Messiah will save, comfort, and show compassion to the hurting and afflicted. Some will say, “The Lord has forsaken me” but he will declare I will never forsake you. So don’t give up.
GUESS WHAT? God has also called us, before we were born, to be his servant and proclaim the Messiah to others. May we be faithful in sharing Jesus with others so that they may know the Lord as their Savior and Redeemer, and recognize him as the Almighty One.
