Isaiah Chapter 43
God Is Doing A New Thing.
God declares to his people that he’s sending a redeemer who will save them.
Vs 1-4: God thinks we’re Awesome. He says, I created you. I’m calling you to me. You are mine. You are precious and honored. I love you. Knowing this should draw us to him versus away from him.
Vs. 5-7: God is gathering his people and says, I will draw you to me from all over the world don’t be afraid. What a comfort to know that he wants to save the world and we get to be a part of that. Is he knocking on the door of your heart?
Vs. 8-9: But Be Careful. God will remove the disobedient. He says it includes those who reject his word as truth not with their mere words but with how they live.
Vs. 10-13: We are called to be his Witnesses and Servants. If we receive the Redeemer, Christ, then we should be honored to want to share him with others through our lips and through our actions, through a servant’s heart.
Vs. 14-21: God is wanting to do a new thing in and through our lives. Don’t let your past dictate your present or your future. May our hearts be 100% open for whatever New Thing he wants to do in and through us.
Vs. 22-28: God promises a Savior but sadly he says some will still reject him. Lord help my number one passion be you over anything or anyone else in this world.
