Isaiah Chapter 35
There Will Be Joy!!!
Vs. 1: Don’t limit the power and splendor of God for he will bring joy to those who are in the desert. Those in the wilderness will blossom.
Vs. 2: Those who blossom will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. God will do things you never expected.
Vs. 3: God will strengthen you so you can stand firm.
Vs. 4: Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.” Do you see the Hope of Jesus prophesized in this verse?
Vs. 5-6: When Jesus comes, then will the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walk, and the mute shout for joy.
Vs. 7-8: Holiness will be restored.
Vs. 9: Those who experience the redemption of Christ will walk in this Way of Holiness while singing and being filled with everlasting joy and gladness. Sorrow will flee away.
Do you feel like you are stuck in a desert? Are you filled with anxiety? Does God seem far away? Has Joy left your heart? Isaiah 35 is a promise of the power of God found through Christ. He can cause you to blossom amongst your circumstances. Bring joy where there is none. Strengthen and stabilize you! He will save you! God will bring growth in your dying circumstances. Miracles will happen. Joy will replace sorrow. The circumstances you stand in look dead, but Christ brings life and joy. Put your hope in him!!
