Isaiah Chapter 23
Don’t Withhold Your Blessings From God.
A prophecy against Tyre was given that it would be destroyed. Tyre was the marketplace of the nations. As a result they were filled with pride and hoarded all their profits while people suffered around them. God would bring them to ruin for 70 years and after 70 years, Tyre would be restored. In humility they would use their profits to help the people who were in need.
God created us for a purpose. He wishes to use us and our best response is humility before the Lord. We can’t let Pride in our hearts for pride drives us to neglect others while humility drives us to help others.
How has God blessed you? With money? With other assets? With certain talents? May we choose to be his humble servant and use what he’s given us for his glory! May we help those in need around us. May we NOT hoard our gifts and blessings for our Glory. Pray God shows you who you can be a blessing to today.
