Isaiah chapter 20 and 21
Are You Willing To Do Hard Things For Jesus?
In these two chapters, God prophesies against Egypt, Cush, Babylon, Edom, and Arabia for relying on human powers and false gods. Got sent Isaiah the prophet to strip down naked and walk three years amongst Egypt and Cush as an object lesson of what would happen to them if they did not turn to the Lord. Their enemy would strip them naked and put them to shame.
Can you imagine being called by God to strip naked and walk amongst lost souls for 3 years warning people of what was to come to them? Am I willing to obey the Lord no matter what? Do I put limits on God? “Lord I’ll follow you no matter what, unless I have to change careers. Unless I have to face persecution or death! Unless I am embarrassed.”
What hard thing is God asking you to do? Be obedient! Be willing to do whatever it takes to reach lost people for Jesus!
