Isaiah Chapter 2
He’s BACK!!!!!
Isaiah the prophet says, “In the last days,” meaning the days of the coming Messiah when he returns to earth and reigns in righteousness and peace. There will be no more wars and All Nations will come and exalt him.
However, before he returns, there will be many who are not walking with the Lord but walking in sin instead. They will be following pagan gods and will be superstitious. They’ll be striving for power and wealth while serving false gods. So when Jesus returns and they see him in his majesty and power, they will flee in fear, running from him. But there will be those who will rejoice and Worship the Lord.
Therefore, let us take heed to the words of the prophet Isaiah:
1. Verse 3 says, “Come” let us also, now, go to the Lord. Let him “teach us his ways that we may walk in his paths.” How blessed we are to have God’s word, the Bible, that we can learn how to walk in his paths, in righteousness, and holiness versus in a life of sin and disobedience.
2. Verse 22 says, stop trusting in the things of this world. All it does is take our Focus off of the Lord. Instead, let us invest 100% in the Lord Jesus who gives us eternal life.
Choose wisely because Jesus will return and we need to be ready so that we can run to him rejoicing rather than run from him in fear of his coming wrath.
