Isaiah Chapter 15
Let’s Examine Ourselves.
Isaiah prophesized against Moab. God declares that Moab’s leaders will be destroyed overnight. They have turned to false gods. Their warriors cry out to their gods. God will cause their crops to fail and Moab will be destroyed.
All of Moab’s energy is invested into a lifestyle that forsakes the Lord. But in their minds, their way seems 100% right. How can something so wrong seem so right? What drives people into blindness? It starts with the flesh. Some want power. Others want money. Some are trying to feed their selfish desires, their flesh. Once you start down this slippery path that opposes the Lord, the easier it is to get deceived.
What seems 100% right to you? What is the motive behind that? For God’s Glory or for your glory? For God’s pleasures or your pleasures?
Let’s examine our lives and seek God for his truth to become more evident in our lives and the desires of our flesh to be crucified daily so we are walking and God’s truth versus our flesh.
