Hebrews Chapter 10
Even Our Guilt Feelings Are Taken Away.
We continue to have comparisons made between the Old Testament animal sacrifices and the sacrifice of Jesus.
Again it says that Jesus’s sacrifice was done ONCE and for ALL humankind. It erases all past, present, and future sins if we would but believe.
A big difference between the sacrifice of Jesus and the animal sacrifices is that the forgiveness of Jesus takes away even our feelings of guilt!
What a wonderful gift from God! Satan likes to remind us of our past and our past sins, but we can rise above the accusations and declare freedom in Christ, true healing, and victory over sin.
With Christ, satan no longer has power over us and our minds. We do not have to live in guilt and condemnation Romans 8:1-2.
