Genesis Chapter 8
You Are Not Forgotten.
Genesis chapter 8 starts by saying, God “remembered” (Hebrew word “yizkor”) Noah. In amongst all the months being cooped up with animals on an ark where they can’t see at all where they are going, and even wondering where they were and what’s going to happen next, God did not forget Noah. Because Noah was important to God. We too are on an adventure ride of life and sometimes wonder what in the world is going on. We question God where he is taking us. We have fear or worry or even anxiety, but God loves us and he remembers us. We are not forgotten. He has his hands on us and will take care of us and direct our paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight.
So as you go through life, remember God “yizkor” you.. He remembers you, you are not forgotten.
