Genesis Chapter 7
Did You Get Your Invitation?
God gives an invitation to Moses and his whole family. They were chosen to enter the ark because Moses was righteous (tzaddik). Those not chosen are destroyed because of their sins.
Today, we have a sin problem, and God is going to destroy all sinners. But because he still loves us, he’s given all creation an invitation: to enter the ark (Heaven) through a relationship with his son Jesus. To choose Christ is to choose to walk in faith and obedience to God in righteousness (tzaddik).
We’re not saved by our Good deeds but by God’s grace, through our faith, demonstrated by our righteous and obedient life.
Moses received the invitation and responded by being obedient. May we receive God’s invitation and respond by our faith in Christ and obedient life to his Word.
