Genesis Chapter 46
It’s Going To Be Okay!
The day has come and Jacob and all 70 descendants have traveled to Egypt in the land of Goshen. God assures Jacob he will be with him and that there’s nothing to fear. And his son Joseph, who he was separated from for years, will be with him till his death.
The family were shepherds of mostly sheep and goats which is an abomination to Egyptians. Egyptians saw power in having cows and Rams but not sheep and goats. But God allowed Pharaoh to find favor in Joseph’s family despite the fact they were shepherds of not just cows but also sheep and goats.
When God calls us to a new location, he opens doors and gives us a peace about it in our hearts. Plus God takes away fear so we can go with confidence and serve him with confidence.
