Genesis Chapter 40
Don’t Our Problems Belong To God?
So King Pharaoh is offended by his Cupbearer and Baker. He has them put in jail where Joseph is. The chief bodyguard puts Joseph in charge over them. The two men each have a dream and the next day they are totally distraught because they don’t know anyone who can interpret it. Joseph responded by saying, “Don’t interpretations belong to God?” Joseph hears the dreams trusting God will reveal the interpretation. He told each men what would happen to them. The cup bearer would be restored to his position before king Pharaoh while the baker would be killed by Pharaoh’s orders.
What are you distraught with? What’s been eating at your heart and soul? Let’s look at this like Joseph would: “Don’t our problems belong to God?” Yes, we could worry about them, and do so a lot! We become distraught and seek help from everyone from everywhere. Some even go to Mediums for answers or just try to fight it out on their own. I’m not trying to make problem solving sound easy but God does care and he wants us to hand all our concerns and problems to him. Take all your concerns to God in prayer and thank Him in advance for his answer. Giving thanks is a way of showing your trust in him and he promises to give us peace as we go through our life concerns. Philippians 4:4-7. Take it today to God In Prayer!
