Genesis Chapter 10
Leaving a Legacy For The Lord.
In this chapter we see a genealogy of the three sons of Noah with mention of several grandsons. From each son came many nations each with their own language.
Of all the names mentioned there was only one person, Nimrod, whose name was mentioned receiving recognition and a description of his walk with the Lord.
He was known as “The Mighty Warrior for the Lord”. Thus given the name “Mighty Hunter” because of his hunting skills toward his enemies.
He stood out amongst the others and left a legacy for the Lord, having built a large Kingdom.
Dear Lord, I want to leave a legacy for you. I want my life to be all about you. I don’t want to be just another Christian who puts in my time thus fulfilling my Christian duties. I want to be an actual instrument that you use to impact lives for the kingdom. I want people to be, not impressed with me, but impressed on how my life was both pointed to the Lord and also pointed others to the Lord. God please use me to the fullest. I surrender my life and my will to you today!
