Galatians Chapter 1
Don’t Be A People Pleaser!
As Paul traveled and preached the Gospel he went through Galatia three different times. The Galatians received the message but over time was being led astray from those who questioned Paul’s authority and questioned this new Gospel that accepted both Jews and non-Jews.
Paul says that if his goal was to be a people pleaser, he’d be preaching a false gospel like the others. But no! He preached the Gospel Truth knowing it will cause attack to his body and life, but it has to be preached because it’s the only message that saves our souls.
Paul declares he was called by God to preach the Gospel that he received by revelation from Christ Jesus and not by any other man.
Paul shares his testimony of how strong and intelligent he was as a Jew and how he persecuted the Christians. He was very zealous for the traditions of the Jews, but then Jesus changed his life and called him to preach the Good News to many.
1. Don’t be a people pleaser because it leads them further away from the Lord. Be a God pleaser!
2. We all have a testimony of how God changed our lives. Don’t be afraid to share it.
