First Chronicles Chapter 29
This Doesn’t Belong To Me and I’m Not Qualified.
God called Solomon to build the Temple of the Lord and yet he was INEXPERIENCED. Don’t mistake BEING CALLED BY GOD with automatically being EXPERIENCED or QUALIFIED. God will call the not so experienced or not so qualified to give them experience and make them qualified. God is in the business of QUALIFYING the CALLED versus CALLING the QUALIFIED.
Even though all of Israel gave so much to help beautify the Temple of the Lord, King David said they were only giving what belonged to the Lord to begin with. What we have belongs to the Lord and he gives it to us. Therefore we should not be quick to hoard our blessings and always be open and willing to bless others with our God given blessings.
God, thank you that you help me be better at what I’m called to do. Thank you for your wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.
Also, God, help me be willing to give any blessing we have received from you for your glory.
