First Chronicles Chapter 26
Let’s Be “ABLE” People.
A breakdown is given of all the men who worked as Gatekeepers. It lists several men and their sons holding this responsibility and states that all of them “were ABLE men with strength for service.”
The Hebrew word for ABLE is “Chayil” which means the following:
People of strength, influence, or righteousness.
May that be said about us. God, no matter if I’m at work, or leading my household, or working with teens or young adults, or speaking somewhere, or helping a person in need, may It be said of me that I’m a person of STRENGTH, INFLUENCE, and a person of RIGHTEOUSNESS.
