First Chronicles Chapter 24
Treat Everybody The Same.
More is said of the Levites and how they were appointed certain tasks in the temple of the Lord. Each person, whether in a high position or lowly position were all treated the same.
We are all, as followers of Christ, are all temples of the Holy Spirit who lives within us. Whether you’re a CEO of a big company or someone cleaning toilets all day, in the eyes of God you’re loved the same and God shows no partiality like we can tend to do. It’s easy to show partiality toward the rich and famous, or popular people, while giving less attention to the poor, or not so popular, or the annoying ones.
CHALLENGE:
Watch and observe today how much attention you give the not so popular people versus the very popular people, or how much attention you give the one that’s most annoying versus the one that has the personality that we are easily drawn to. Pray that God would show you how you can treat people with the same kind of love.
