First Chronicles Chapter 2
Now It’s All Starting To Make Sense.
In this chapter we get the genealogy of the 12 sons of Jacob up to King David. And then we get the genealogy of David. Once again, all this is important to establish these genealogies so we can see God’s promises slowly being fulfilled throughout Scripture when he said from the ancestors of Moses will come a Savior who will save the people from their sins. These genealogies eventually lead to Jesus thus fulfilling prophecies made thousands of years before they’re fulfillment. Thank you God for verifying your word as true and for providing forgiveness of sins through your son.
