First Chronicles Chapter 14
I’d Love To Hear Your Testimony!
As King David becomes more established as king over Israel, the Philistines attack them on two separate occasions. Both times David sought the Lord on whether they should go into battle and if they’d have victory over the enemy? Both times, God said yes and he would deliver the Philistines into their hands. It says that King David did just as God commanded and defeated the enemy. In fact, it says David’s Fame became well known to all the nations and they feared him.
David’s reliance on the Lord became a testimony to all the Nations around him of God’s greatness. May we depend upon the Lord as David did. May we seek the Lord for all our needs and then may God’s work in our lives become a testimony of his love and power to those around us. Are you reliant upon the Lord for all things? Do you have a testimony to share.
MY TESTIMONY:
I have been working two part-time jobs and the one part-time position has not been steady. I have been praying for God’s provision. Just the other day he opened the door for me to be able to speak on five Wednesday nights for a youth group who lost their youth pastor. The senior pastor said the church would pay me for those 5 weeks. Thank you Jesus for your provision.
