Ezra Chapter 7
I Hope They Find Favor On What We’re Doing For The Lord.
God had allowed the King of Babylon to find favor with the Jews who he had held captive for years.
God’s plan to restore his people back to Judah, is slowly happening. The king gives his Blessing for Ezra the priest, to take whoever he wants, back to Jerusalem.
Typically, the Babylonians and the Israelites were always at war with each other but God’s favor fell upon these two different groups of people so that they have a mutual respect for each other and for the “God of Heaven.”
My prayer today is I’m wanting to schedule a meeting with the Junior High Principal at the Union City School to see about having the school help promote an event that could potentially help us build a connection with several 6th to 8th graders. My desire is to make connection with them so we can then invite them to a student-led club called Student IMPACT, at the school which puts emphasis on showing acceptance for all while teaching the principles of Christ. I’m praying God’s favor will fall upon the principal so that he would show favor on this idea.
I pray God will help each of us to find favor from our peers, coworkers, or bosses, so that we can share God’s truth and Impact lives for the Lord.
