Exodus Chapter 40
Seeing the Glory of the Lord!
God gives Moses clear instructions on the setting up of the Tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting and all its accessories. It was to be erected on the first day of the first month.
The items were to be consecrated with oil and made holy as they set them up including the priests.
Once everything was completed to the Lord’s specifications, with all things made holy, God’s presence came over the tent of meeting and filled the Tabernacle where he resided. The GLORY OF THE LORD filled the Tabernacle and was evidenced by a cloud during the day and by fire during the night.
Today, the glory of the Lord is not evident by a cloud or fire, but by his Holy Spirit which resides in the heart of every believer and follower of Christ.
Today His Glory is evidenced by his love in and through our lives, and by the testimonies of God’s work in and through our lives.
He still desires to reside in that which is Holy. Are you Holy before the Lord or are their areas of your lives that need to be confessed, surrendered, and repented from? What love is evidenced in and through your life today for the Lord? What’s a testimony of a recent act of God’s power and Glory in your life?
For me, I would say the greatest testimony of God’s glory in our lives would be his provision for us financially which has been done miraculously several times. Thank you Lord for making testimonies!
