Exodus Chapter 4
Use Me God!
God has already identified to Moses how he’s going to use him to set free the Israelites from the bondage of Egypt. That should be enough said.
But Moses feels he has to question God. He asks, what if the people don’t believe me or listen to me? Like he’s questioning or suggesting that God’s plan won’t work. So God shows him two miracles to ensure him that he’s very capable of using Moses to accomplish his plan. But Moses tells God that he’s not an eloquent speaker so therefore is not the best choice. God, and I’m sure he’s getting a little frustrated with Moses, says he is the creator of everyone’s voice and he can use whoever he wants. But Moses again suggests he send somebody else. Now at this time God burns with anger and says he will use Aaron his brother along with him.
What are our excuses as to why we can’t encourage those around us with the GOSPEL message so they can be set free from the bondage of sin?
I’m not smart enough. I’m not knowledgeable enough of the bible. I’m not good enough. I’m not qualified.
Hey, God doesn’t call the qualified, but rather he qualifies the called. Just as he proved to Moses that he is very capable of using him, so is God very capable of equipping and using us. All God is looking for is a willing heart that says, “Use me!”
